The Muse 2.0
is a literary and arts magazine publishing the work of students at
Walsingham Academy.
This issue features poems, essays, and haiku written by the class of 2015 in the school year of 2010-2011. During this time, we have learned about an abundant number of literary devices, and have read mythology, poetry, plays, novels, and short stories including The Hobbit, The Diary of Anne Frank, Sounder, The Hound of the Baskervilles, and other literature that the class of 2016 will be looking forward to.
In addition to our own work, several students from the class of 2013 and 2012 published their work in this issue. We are grateful for their contributions.
The lyrical poems and narrative essays from the 8th graders express emotion and love making emotion and love so real. The haiku are creative, showing the role of time, emotion, and nature play in our lives. Analytical essays were originally written in English 8 and are based on books and poems we read or SAT essay exercises we wrote.
We hope you enjoy our offerings.

Layout, art, and other art forms found in this issue, were edited and executed by Alex Bolton, Lisette Brondyke, Abby Cryts, Jenna Hamra, Molly Menoni, and Meredith Watkins.
